Sara Izard Hough, 96, of Columbia, died on March 24, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Harold Hough, Sr. Mrs. Hough was a member of the First Baptist Church, Columbia, where she served for 40 years in the First Grade Sunday School Department.
Mrs. Hough is survived by her children, Carol Linger (Russ) of Knoxville, TN, Jim Hough (Anne) of Ruston, LA, and Edward Hough (Anna) of Columbia. She is survived by her grandchildren, Lisa Eddins (Carey), Mark Linger (Candice), Chris Hough (Linda-Gail), Jennifer Loos (Erick), Amanda Thornhill (Brandon), Matt Hough (Laura), Sara Russell (Ramie), and five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, 1-2:30 pm at Hathorn Funeral Home with the service following in the chapel and burial in Newhebron Cemetery.
