Hendrich, Charles F. (5 MAR 1871 – 29 APR 1931)

Chas. F. Hendrich, a resident of this village for 7 years and of the Town of Loyal since 1900 passed away at his home Monday, April 29th at 9 A. M. He was born in Columbus, Nebr. March 5, 1871, and when 6 years of age moved with his parents to Sheboygan, Wisconsin where he grew to manhood. On Oct. 12, 1893 he was united in marriage to Matilda Paetow at Milwaukee where they resided until 1900 when they located on a farm in the Town of Loyal. In 1924 they moved to this village where death came after an illness of about a week, altho' the deceased was paralyzed for the past several years.
He is survived by his devoted wife, one son and three daughters namely: Everett, of Loyal; Mrs. Gladys Rowley of Loyal; Mrs. Erma Urig of Calvery, Wis., and Miss Florence of Chicago. One child in infancy preceded the father in death, and also two sisters. Three brothers Otto of New Jersey, Ed. Of Washington, and Oscar of Loyal and six grand children also survive and a large number of friends and other relatives.
The deceased was a member of the M. E. Church, Modern Woodman Lodge and at one time served as chairman of the Town of Loyal.
Funeral services were held Thursday April 23, at 1:30 P. M. at the home and 2:00 P. M. at the M. E. Church, the Rev. V. C. Kegley officiating. Interment took place in the Union Cemetery here.
