She was preceded in death by grandparents James Tutt of New Boston, TX and William and Fannie Moore of Bowie County. Survivors include her father and mother, James and Brenda Moore of Hooks, TX; grandmother, Vera Morehead of Texarkana, TX; sister and brother-in-law, Jaimee and Chad Hunter, and niece Darby of Plano, TX; brother and sister-in-law James and Dana Moore, and nephew James of Hooks TX; special friends Sara Gray, Mike Smith, and Jeremy Hamilton. Memorial services will be held at Beverly Heights Church Of Christ, US 82 & Rex Ave., Hooks, TX, on Saturday, March 26, at 2 p.m. Memorials for Gayla may be made to the American Heart Association or Habitat for Humanity of Texarkana, PO Box 1345, Texarkana, TX 75504-1345. Gayla loved fishing with her daddy and brother and going to the movies with her mama and sister. She enjoyed traveling, NASCAR, and spending time with family and friends.
