Albert Detrick, one of the most highly esteemed citizens of Limestone Township, died at his home Saturday, February 28, 1931, at 10:55 p.m., from heart trouble. Mr. Detrick has been ailing for about six years with trouble affecting his heart and seemed to be getting along about as usual until 48 hours previous to his demise, when he sustained a very serious suffering, following which his spirit went back to God who gave it. Mr. Detrick was a son of Jonathan and Mary Ann Detrick, and was born in Limestone Township, on June 14, 1864. He lived all his life in that community. He was married July 5, 1906 to Nancy J. Cyphert, who survives him to mourn the loss of a loving companion. He is survived by the following brothers and sister: Howard, of Strattanville, Lavellan, of Limestone, and Mrs. Amanda Timlin, of Pittsburgh. Three sisters preceded him in death. Mr. Detrick was for many years a member of the Baptist Church of Limestone and was a Deacon of the same for years. He was a fine worker in the Sunday school. His funeral was held at his late home on Wednesday, March 4th, the services being conducted by Rev. C. S. Clawson. The interment was made in the Limestone Cemetery.
