His mother was Eliza Ann Schofield/Schofill.

In the 1880 census, he is listed as Philip Harper; Lonnie Harper in 1900 census; Lonnie Harper in 1910 census; Phillip L. Harper in 1920 census; Lonnie Harper in 1930 census; Lon Harper in 1940 census; haven't found him yet in 1950 census; Lon Harper on 1901 marriage license; Philip Leonados Haper on his 1918 WWI draft card; and Lonnie H. Harper (noted no middle name, only initial) on his son Phillip's WWII draft card. His son Phillip was also the informant on his death certificate, which listed him as Lonnie Harper. One could conclude then that Phillip most likely ordered the headstone also, and since he was the only one to list his father as Lonnie H. Harper, it is possible that he was just mistaken on his father's full name.
