He was born in Crawford County to the late Lonnie Harper and Minnie Barefoot Harper. Mr. Harper was a farmer and a logger and the widower of Evelyn Stewart Harper, his wife of 51 years who died in 1987. He was a kind, gentle man with a strong work ethic all his life. He will be missed.
