CARSON - Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Saulters-Moore Funeral Home in Prentiss for Clarence "Baby" Bass, 77, of Carson, who died Oct. 11, 2009, at Jefferson Davis Community Hospital.
Burial is in Brady Cemetery.
Mr. Bass was a tool pusher of 30 years for Odeco Offshore Drilling, a member of a VFW chapter in Magee and member of Bethany Baptist Church. He served in the Navy during the Korean War.
Survivors include two daughters, Laurie Sears of Carson and Debra Jean Hassler of Willow Grove, Pa.; two sons, Timmy Bass of Kokomo and Tony Bass of Prentiss; two stepdaughters, Gloria McRaney and Wanda Sullivan, both of New Hebron; two stepsons, Charlie Kiser of Mount Olive and George Lewis of Magee; a sister, Nell Boone of Columbia; and 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence W. Bass and Sarah Delancey Bass, and a grandchild.
Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
