Betty Asberry, age 76, of Jamestown, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2011 at her home.
Mrs. Asberry was born June 7, 1934.
Mrs. Asberry is survived by four sons, Arnold, Charles, Ray and Stacy Asberry all of Jamestown; five daughters, Patricia Norman of Dickson, TN, Elsie Neal of Red Oak, Iowa, Danetta Duncan of Murfreesboro, TN, Tracy Smith of Jamestown, TN and Crystal Johnson of Las Vegas, NV; thirteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Elsie Pyle of Jamestown.
Mrs. Asberry was preceded in death by husband, Arnold Asberry, Sr.; parents, Edward and Clara Sells Hill; and brother, Charles Hill.
Funeral services were held Sunday, March 20, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Mundy Funeral Home with Bruce Mullinix and Dan?Smith officiating. Burial followed in the Allardt Cemetery. Pallbearers included Michael Norman, Taylor Asberry, Dustin Neal, Howard Duncan, Michael Hill, Olen Winningham, Blake Asberry and Kerry Johnson.
