Belva Jean Mortensen died Monday, July 5, 1993, at home.
Born December 18, 1941, in Emery, Utah, to Clyde E. and Jenel Mortensen. She graduated from South Emery High School with honors, and from Ex-cel-cis Beauty College. Served a mission to the Great Lakes from 1963-1965. Active member of the LDS Church and served in many capacities. She was employed by the LDS Church for 30 years. At the time of her death, she was working in the Special Services Dept. in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Belva was a true friend. She will be missed by those left behind and all those who knew her.Preceded in death by her mother and a brother. Survived by her father, Clyde, and sisters, Geraldine (Morris) Lewis and Beth (Fred) Delliskave, and six nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 8, 1993, 11 a.m. at the 33rd LDS Ward Chapel, 453 So. 1100 East where friends may call Thursday 10-10:45 a.m. Interment and graveside services will be in the Emery Cemetery at 4 p.m., Emery, Utah. Funeral Directors: Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary.
