Beth Mortensen Delliskave, 72, of Murray passed away on December 12, 2007 from complications due to Diabetes and Heart Disease. Born Sept. 20, 1935 to Clyde and Jenel Mortensen in Emery, Utah. Married Frederick Delliskave on April 14, 1956 in Emery Utah. She took great pride in her home town and the fact that she was a graduate of South Emery High School. She later attended Excelsis Beauty School and was an instructor there. She loved her family, friends, and neighbors and provided them with home cooked meals and fresh baked goods. There was no crisis great or small where she wasn't there to comfort friends and family. She was always present for her children and grandchildren's interests, and served as PTA president where she was invited to attend a meeting with the state legislature. She served in many callings in the LDS Church with her favorite being in the Primary, Compassionate Service Coordinator and as a visitor teacher. She cheered for the Utah Jazz and called every traveling foul. She made each of her children feel they were her favorite.
She is survived by her husband Fred; children Fred C. (Gail); RaLynn; and Shaun (Jennifer); and grandchildren Nick, Derrick, James, and Elizabeth; and sister Geraldine Lewis. Preceded in death by her parents and sister Belva. Special thanks to all the caretakers who comforted her.
Viewing will be Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S State St., and Saturday from 10:00 -10:45 a.m. at the church. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, at 11:00 a.m., December 15, 2007 at the Cottonwood Acres Ward Chapel (981 E Revere Cir (5550 S), Murray, UT).
Interment: Murray City Cemetery.
