Wife of Thomas Jefferson Atkinson.
Daughter of Samuel S Saunders and Permelia Morris Saunders
Married 10 November 1857 Cass County Missouri
She is buried 100 feet south of the house she played when she was a child. This was the family farm. She is the mother of Permelia (Minnie) Atkinson Clatworthy. After the war the cemetery was turned into a public burial ground.
(Civil War)I was told by Inez Patterson that the direction of the house is North of her grave. My father Urlyss Atkinson Clatworthy did not know and neither did Louise Eldine Barnard Atkinson Weaver know. Inez said there was a well just north of her grave in the middle section. not far West of where Inez Barnard and her husband John Patterson are buried along with son Jeffery Burton Patterson and Cleo Inez Patterson (Infant) are buried.
