He also appeared on dozens of other television series such as "Perry Mason", "Bonanza", "Star Trek", "The Untouchables" and "Get Smart". His film credits included "One Man's Way" (1964), "Bullitt" (1968), "Blume in Love" (1973), "Heaven Can Wait" (1978) and "Zoot Suit" (1981). He retired from acting after the last episode of "Happy Days" was filmed. He died at age 75 in Los Angeles, California.
