JOSEPH W. BARONE age 93 of 17 Barone Avenue, Mount Morris, New York, died Wednesday February 2, 2011 at Highland Hospital in Rochester, New York. He was born the son of Anthony and Josephine (Battaglia) Barone on July 1, 1917 in Mount Morris, New York. He was a life resident of Mount Morris. He was a veteran of World War II from 1942 to 1945. He married Mazie Leta on August 30, 1947. Prior to his retirement in 1980 he was employed as a painter for over 33 years at the State University of New York at Geneseo. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church, the Active Hose Company of the Mount Morris Fire Department for over 60 years and a member of the Harvey L. Brady American Legion Post # 354 in Mount Morris, NY.
He is survived by his wife of over 63 years Mazie. 2 Sons Stephen (Cindy) Barone of Syracuse and Richard (Debbie) Barone of Wayland. 3 Grandchildren Kelly (David) Rea of Pittsford, Erin Barone of Corning and Sarah Barone of Penfield. Nieces and Nephews.
