Lindsey and Elizabeth 'Atchley'
Long. Bud's grandmother, Elizabeth,
was the granddaughter of Thomas
Atchley 1 and Lydia 'Richards' Atchley.

Rutherford married Amanda 'Young' on
December the 4th, 1870 in Greene Co.,
Missouri.
They were the parents of several
children:

NOTE: Amanda was the younger sister
of Rebecca 'Young' Long, wife of
Marion Long. Marion was Bud's Uncle.

Bud was a farmer by trade, he and
his family had lived in Missouri for
a short time, later moving &
settling in Texas where he lived for
the rest of his and where he died.

Rutherford died from a cancer on his
face, he had suffered sometime with the

Rutherford has a grandson still

met with him and his lovely daughter
and enjoyed going over family research
with them.
