FREEMAN, JUNE U. - age 90 of Powell, passed away on March 19, 2011 at Mercy Hospital in Knoxville, TN. June was a faithful member of Sharon Baptist Church of Powell. She is proceeded in death by first husband, Albert Lindsey and parents, Maggie and Melvin Marlow; brother, Ulyess Marlow; sisters, Faye Carson, Ann Cochran, Polly Miller, and Zora Nipper. June is survived by husband, Robert Freeman of Powell; brother, Morris Marlow of Harriman; sisters, Mary Smith of Powell, Louise Modern of Knoxville, Ruth Marlow of Clinton; sister-in-law, Mary Marlow of Gatlinburg; a special friend Faith Chesapeak. June leaves behind many friends and was loved by many. A special thank you to the members of her beloved church at Sharon Baptist Church for your love and support of June and Robert. Funeral Service 7 PM Monday at Sharon Baptist Church with Dr. James Robertson, Pastor Mark McCoig, and Pastor Dennis Blazier officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 AM Tuesday at Sharon Cemetery for interment at 11:00 AM. Honorary pallbearers are Adult 7 Sunday School Class. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be made to Sharon Baptist Church in honor of June. Family will receive friends 5 - 7 PM Monday at Sharon Baptist Church. www.mynattfh.com
