Helen Frances Brown (Momma Brown), 89, of Madisonville passed away on June 28, 2010. She was surrounded by her family as she left this earth to be reunited with her loved ones in heaven.
She was a member of First Christian Church in Madisonville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Vernon Allen and Nell Dixie Fugate Allen. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Joe Shelton Brown and a brother, Jerold P. Allen.
She is survived by her sons, Bobby A. Brown (Helen Jane), Joe P. Brown (Diane), Terry G. Brown (Jon) and a daughter, Rita J. Brown. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was proud of each and every one of them and loved them all with her heart.
Funeral service will be Friday, July 2, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Adcock officiating. Burial will follow in Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville.
Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M., Thursday, July 1, 2010 at the funeral home.
