Mrs. Ella V. Smeltser, widow of Frederick J. Smeltser, died Monday at the home of her sister, Miss Myrtle Chubb, Halifax. She was 73 years old.
She is survived by one other sister, Mrs. Harry B. Lyter, Halifax, and one brother, H. O. Chubb, also of Halifax.
Funeral services were held from the late home Thursday morning at 10:30 with the Rev. J. Vincent Townsley, pastor of the Halifax Methodist Church of which Mrs. Smeltser was a member, officiated. Burial was in the Halifax Cemetery.
