---George H. Behymer, forty-two, died at his home in La Plata Friday, May 7. He had been ill since January and bedfast since February 22. His death was attributed to a blood clot.
---Mr. Behymer was born November 9, 1900 near Millard. His parents were George L. and Stella Behymer. He spent his boyhood on the farm home near Millard.
---On April 5, 1923, he was married to Lena Marie Billings in Kirksville and they had made their home in La Plata since that time. He had been employed by the Stanoline Pipeline Company in La Plata for the past twenty-one years and was an engineer with the company at the time of his death.
---Besides his wife and parents, he leaves three children, Earlene, Nadine and Carl Raymond, all of the home. He also leaves one sister, Mrs. Vera Neal of Bucklin and two brothers Eddie Behymer of Hutchison, Kansas and Charles Behymer of Kirksville.
