Daughter of Robert Edmond Jr. & Alvira Higgins Lee

Great-Granddaughter of John Doyle & Sarah Caroline Williams Lee.

Married George Maldero Lewis on 24 Jun 1932 and had 3 children who survived. After Dot had several miscarriages and almost died, her husband had a vasectomy long before it became common place.

Dot had came from a large LDS family and when her father passed away at a young age, she being the oldest helped her mother raise her brothers and sisters. Most were the same age as her children and were all very close to each other.

Dot & George were avid outdoor people, they worked the Lewis family mine that was on the Lewis family original homestead near the Superstition Mountains in Arizona. They were avid fishing and camping at places like Oak Creek Canyon, where some summers she would pack up all the grandchildren after George died and camped with us for more than a month as the parents came and went as time and jobs permitted. She loved to water ski with her family and spent lots of time on the lakes in Arizona.

Dot was a seamstress who in her spare time made clothes for people. She loved crossword puzzles and was a killer Scrabble player. Always challenging us when we didn't believe her words, if you were brave enough to check her word, you would find it in the dictionary.

Dot had an ability to make her grandchildren obey, some with the original Vulcan grip (I was lucky never feeling it, but watched a few go down on their knees).

The thing that impressed most of us the most was her ability to know things before they happened, a strong 6th sense. Her 6th sense passed down to at least one daughter and her daughter's daughter and even some to her great-granddaughter. She also had us all believing she was a good witch and could do magic.

Dot learned to fly when she was in her 50's and she drove a semi. There was nothing she wouldn't try and couldn't do.

She married Harris 'Mac' Rusk McCullough and was very happy even through her battle with cancer.

Cancer ended up being the only thing she could not do. Dot left her children and grandchildren knowing she loved us and strong for knowing her.

We will never forget her!
