Alline (Allie) Robertson, 86, of Rich Creek, died Saturday May 8, in Riverview Nursing Home, Rich Creek, Virginia. Born in Giles County, she was the daughter of the late Hayes Filmore and Cora Davis Robertson. A lifelong resident of Giles County, she was self-employed as a domestic worker. She was a Charter member of the Glyn Lyn Christian Church of Christ and was active at the Giles County Senior Center. She was a member of the women's group in the church.
Surviving are her three sister in laws, Mrs. Lake Robertson of Pembroke; Mrs. Freda Robertson and Mrs. Violet Robertson both of Narrows. Special friends Betty and Red Coffman of Rich Creek and the Ray Cheatwood family, several neices and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, May 12 at the Glyn Lyn Church of Christ with Minister Mike Lynn and Minister Mike Robertson officiating. Burial was at the Robertson-Davis Cemetery, Route 1, Narrows.
Riffe's Funeral Home in Narrows was in charge of arrangements.
