9 July 1952: Mary Souders, 83, widow of the late Reuben K. Souders, died last night at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John Souders, Kutztown, Myerstown Rt. 3. Cause of death was general debility. A native of Kleinfeltersville, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Dissler and Eliza Leedom Dissler. Her husband preceded her in death five years ago. A member of the Kleinfeltersville E.U.B. Church, she was the last of her immediate family.
She is survived by four sons, Harry, of Richland Rt. 1; Reuben, of Myerstown; John, also of Myerstown, with whom she resided; and Daniel, of Rehrersburg; a daughter, Annie, wife of John McQuaid, of Myerstown; nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. [Lebanon Daily News]
