WEST PALM BEACH, FL Lewis H. Yohe, Sr., 83, died Friday, May 14, 2010. Lewis was the husband of Ruth H. (Falkler) Yohe of 65 years. Born July 3, 1926, in York, Lewis was the son of the late Lawrence and Eleanor (Snyder) Yohe. He was employed by Caterpillar Tractor before moving to Florida in 1961 to work for Pratt Whitney and later the U.S. Postal Service, where he retired after 22 years of service. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Survivors include sons, Jerry Yohe and wife, Cindy of York, Steve Yohe and wife, Janet of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., Doug Yohe of West Palm Beach, Fla.; a daughter-in-law, Janice Yohe of White Bear Lake, MN.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Harold Yohe; sisters, Ramona Sheets, Mildred Oster, and Estella Henze, all of York. He was preceded in death by his son, Lewis H. Yohe, Jr.; sisters, Sarah Reisinger and Eleanor Yohe; brothers, Moritz Yohe, Lawrence Yohe, Jr., Wilmer Yohe and Emory Yohe. A service will be held at Palm Beach National Chapel, Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. Burial will be in South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, Fla.
