Melba S. Powell, 88, died March 15, 2011.
Born Nov. 3, 1922, she was married to Derald J. Powell Sr. on Sept. 10, 1942. Their marriage was solemnized July 1, 1976 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
She is survived by her sons, James W. Powell (Linda) and Russell D. Powell (Candy); daughter-in-law, LaRae Powell; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and brother, Glen Sadler (Marilyn).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Derald J. Powell Sr.; and son, Derald J. Powell Jr.
Graveside services will be held Friday, March 18, at 2 p.m. at the Midvale City Cemetery, 450 West 7500 South. There will be a viewing Friday from 1- 1:45 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Midvale.
