Death of Good Woman Occurs at Marcola.
Register Lane County Special.
MARCOLA, Nov. 18.---Mrs. C. A. Kirkpatrick died at her home at Marcola on Wednesday, November 15, 1911, of consumption, after a lingering illness, aged 47 years, 5 months and 27 days.
Deceased was born in Story county, Iowa, on May 18, 1864. She was converted at the age of 13 years and had been a faithful Christian ever since, giving evidence of her faith at her death. She was a true wife and loving mother and patient sufferer.
Deceased was married to C. A. Kirkpatrick in 1885, in Marsh county, Iowa. To them were born five children---Ernest, Mabel, Mary, Oliver and Earl, only Ernest and Mabel surviving, the others dying in infancy. Besides the living children, the relatives attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Chase, of Eugene, and Mr. and Mrs. Ike Cline.
