A resident of Pensacola for the last 45 years was born in Michigan. He was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church.

He is preceded in death by his son, Richard H. Reno; father, Richard H. Reno; mother, Ernestine Reno Stanfield; brother, Richard H. Reno, Jr.; and sister, Carolyn Coliier.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-eight years, Carolyn (Polly) Reno; son, Charles F. Reno, II, wife, Debbie; daughter, Tracy Reno Herman, husband, Bruce; daughter, Nancy Loper Brown, husband, Stan; son, Lonnie Stephen Loper, wife Teresa; twelve grandchildren; seven great-grand children; sister, Connie Bailey; several nieces and nephews. His great love was the grand and great grand children. He was a loving husband, father, and grandpa and will be greatly missed.

He was raised on a farm in Michigan owned by his father which he ran for a while after his father's death. He moved to Florida and went into business as a mobile home dealer. After selling out he went to work for the Division of Motor Vehicles as a mobile home and RV inspector from which he retired.

He was a member of the Elks Lodge 2108, Moose Lodge 557, The American Legion Post 340, and The Rovin Elks RV Club. He was a proud veteran of World War Two.

He loved to travel, camp and be with all his friends of the RV Club.

Services will be held at Trahan Family Funeral Home Wednesday the 16th. Visitation is from 9:00 a.m. until the Elks Service at 9:30 a.m. Memorial service will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by a luncheon provided by his loved friends at the Elks Lodge. Father John Licari is officiating service.

Inurnment will be at 11:00 a.m., March 23, 2011 at Barrancas National Cemetery.
