Luther Cole, aged 24 years old, is dead, and W.E. Robertson, aged 23 years, a fellow oil worker, is at the Baptist sanitarium suffering with two broken arms as the result of a fall from an oil derrick at Humble Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock. The men fell more than 40 feet, Cole's head striking a rotary and his body being penetrated near the kidneys by a protruding rod. He died in Westheimer's ambulance, which made the trip to the Houston hospital in less than 20 minutes.
