GRAHAM, ALAMANCE, NC - Miss Mattie Joyce Whitaker, 94, formerly of Graham, died at Liberty Commons on Friday, June 1, 2007 at 5:15 a.m. following several years of declining health.
A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Lillie Whitaker. She was a retired cafeteria worker for K & W. Survivors include two nephews, Richard Whitaker of Gibsonville and Steve Whitaker of Graham.
A graveside service will be conducted at Alamance Memorial Park on Monday, June 4, 2007 by the Rev. Russell Morris. Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Graham is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be sent to [email protected]
