She was the daughter of Gerrit and Grietje Jans Decker. She was bpt.,1 Dec 1695 in the Old Dutch Church at Kingston, Ulster County, New York.

On 22 Dec 1713 she married Thomas Quick. They left Kingston after a few years and went to the Minisenk area of northern NJ. (today Sussex Co.)

In 1733 they removed to the Pennsylvinia side of the Delaware River, where her husband had built a Grist Mill on the Modder Kill, at the first falls before it emptied into the Delaware. This area would later become Pike County.

Her husband was killed and scalped by the Delaware Indians in 1756.

She was the mother of ten children;
