Amelia was the daughter of Robert English and Margaret Admason.
In 1798 she married John Robart in Cape May, New Jersey. Together they came to Tuscarawas County, Ohio and raised a family until his death in 1810.
On 20 Oct 1811 she married Aaron Patterson in Tuscarawas county, Ohio.
