Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Evergreen Cemetery at Loup City, with the Rev. Barbara Spangler officiating. Cremation has taken place.
No visitation is scheduled. Higgins Funeral Home in Loup City is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Henning was born Oct. 27, 1921, in Grand Island to Fred and Clara (Hohman) Roach.
She married Clyde Henning in 1939 in Ord.
Survivors of the immediate family include a daughter, Ruth Ann Adams of Loup City; a brother, Jack Roach of Central City; a sister, Joyce Hodtwalker of Grand Island; four grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Ruth is also survived by and several nieces and nephews.
She grew up in Grand Island, attended Stolley Park School and graduated from high school.
Ruth and her husband lived and farmed south of Loup City. After Clyde's death, she also resided in Grand Island and Lincoln.
She enjoyed sharing her faith and spending time with her family. She was a member of Calvary Methodist Church in Lincoln.
She was also a Girl Scout leader in Loup City and active in the Women's Club and Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son-in-law, Ron Adams; six brothers, Harold, Vern, Jim, Lee, Robert and Billy; and four sisters, Doris Ainley, Lucille Ward, Marian Dahlke and Dorothy Warrell.
Memorials are suggested to the Henning family or donor's choice.
