Alvina Esther Clara Baumgart, age 92, of Marshfield, formerly of Colby, died Saturday, May 30, 2009, at Golden Living Center Three Oaks, Marshfield.

Alvina was born to William and Adel (Johnson) Gottschalk on November 3, 1916, in Colby, WI.

Alvina was joined in marriage to Orvil Baumgart on June 22, 1938, in Colby. They moved from Colby to Marshfield in 1958. Orvil passed away February 24, 1997.

Alvina is survived by her daughters. She is also survived by her grandchildren and adopted granddaughter. Alvina is further survived by great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters, Myrtle Gottschalk and Lucille (Kenneth) Kobs; and brothers, Elroy (Betty) Gottschalk and Lavern (Sue) Gottschalk.

Alvina is preceded in death by her husband; parents; and brothers, Albert, Arnold, Harvey, Carl and Rueben Gottschalk.

Burial in Colby Memorial Cemetery, Colby.
