Ruth "Peggy" Ables, 73, a homemaker, died Saturday at home.

Funeral: 2 p.m. today at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury. Burial: Granbury Cemetery.

Ruth Ables was born June 27, 1923, in Lipan. She was Baptist and a lifelong Hood County resident.

Survivors: Husband, Guy Ables of Granbury; sons, Jerry Ables and Randy Ables, both of Granbury; daughters, Pam Mitchell of Lewisville and Mindy Neighbors of Granbury; aunt, Pauline Ator of Plano; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
