Services Will Be Held At Harry's Funeral Home at 5 O'clock.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 5 o'clock at Harry's funeral home for Mrs. Della Hart Hasty, 82, who died at her home, 129 North McDowell street, yesterday afternoon after a lingering illness. Dr. C. C. Weaver, pastor of First Methodist church, will officiate, assisted by Rev. W. L. Griggs, pastor of Ninth Avenue Baptist church. Interment will be in Elmwood cemetery.
Mrs. Hasty, who was the widow of J. V. Hasty, is survived by one son, H. B. Hasty of Charlotte; one sister, Mrs. Odessa Brunner of Monroe; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and the following nieces: Mrs. Lou Trott, Mrs. S. R. Lentz and Mrs. A. F. Mosteller, all of Charlotte; Mrs. Oscar Phifer, Mrs. Ola Clary, Mrs. John M. Beatty, all of Monroe; Mrs. John Steele of Lancaster, S.C., and Mrs. R. B. Hill and Miss Lil McKenzie of Hamlet.
Active pallbearers at the services this afternoon will be Arthur Wearn, J. H. Phifer, Joe McLaughlin, A. W. Ferguson, Cliff Newell and A. L. Ducker. Honorary pallbearers will be stewards of First Methodist church.
