Charles Alva is the son of Richard Irving and Millie Thelma Holmes Hudson. He had one full brother. He had 3 half sisters from his father's first marriage and he had 3 half sisters and a half brother from his mother's previous marriage. They are to my knowledge:

OBITUARY - courtesy of Broussard's Mortuary, Silsbee, Texas; March 11, 2011

Charles A. Hudson, 67, of Spurger, Texas, died Thursday, March 10, 2011, at his residence.

He was a longtime resident of the area and was a retired welder with Temple Inland.

Charles is survived by his wife, Sue Hicks Hudson of Spurger; son, Buck Hudson and his wife Donna of Spurger; daughter Paula Burton and her husband Ricky of Kennard; grandchildren, Ryan and Cristin Burton, Savannah and Brianna Hudson, and Chris Parrish; sister, Maureen Bottoms of Silsbee; brother, Harry Doyle and his wife Maude of Port Arthur; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Hudson of Orange.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Millie Hudson; brother, Richard A. Hudson, Sr.; and sisters, Mavie "Babe" Dickey and Rosalyn Richardson.

His funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 12, 2011, at First Pentecostal Church, Hwy 92 North, Silsbee under the direction of Broussard's, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee with burial to follow at Beech Creek Cemetery in Spurger. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, March 11, 2011, 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Saturday, March 12, 2011, 12:00 Noon until 2:00 P.M. at the church.
