CYRUS O. BLICKENSTAFF died at his home, near Cavetown, Wednesday morning, from complications, aged 73 years.
Twenty-nine years ago he moved from Wolfsville to the former Frank Diehl property, at the foot of Cave Hill, northwest of Cavetown, where he resided until his death. He was engaged in farming and market gardening.
Mr. Blickenstaff was bedfast for the past six months.
He was a member of the United Brethren church at Wolfsville.
Surviving are: Two sons, Ivan, Washington, D.C. and Earl, at home; brothers, Jacob, Baltimore, and E. S., Benvola, and sisters, Mrs. Arbelia Stottler, Middleburg and C. C. Stottlemyer, Wolfsville.
His wife died three years ago.
Funeral Friday morning at 10 o'clock; burial in the Smithsburg cemetery.
