Death of Mrs. Harriet Annis

Mrs. Harriet Annis, 90, widow of Edgar S. Annis, died at 1 o'clock Monday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Roy J. Gillette on Washington street, Livonia, after being confined to her bed for the past eight weeks. Mrs. Annis had been in Livonia since the first of the year. It had been her custom for some time to spend four months with each of three daughters, Mrs. Gillette, Mrs. Vernon L. Bishop in Rochester, and Mrs. Fred W. Neff in Medina.

Mrs. Annis, who was the last of a large family of children, was the daughter of David and Sarah Andrews Hann, and was born at Hunt's corners in the town of Groveland Apr. 18, 1850. In 1876 she married Mr. Annis, who died in 1902.

Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at 2:30 at Gillette home, the Rev. A. M. Griffing officiating. Burial was in Union cemetery, Livonia.

Besides the three daughters mentioned above, Mrs. Annus is survived by two other daughters, Mrs. George C. Webster of Conesus and Mrs. Ray Beaumont of Brockport; also twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
