Noalen Page Gaddis attended school in Morton, Miss, where she also was a member of the Methodist Church. After her marriage she joined the Springfield Baptist Church where she was so happy to join that she shouted. She was a tall, well-proportioned lady who had black hair and dark brown eyes and most dignified in manner. She was considered to be an excellent cook. Her grandchildren remember her as being very proud and very strict, with everyone waiting on her at her command, even in the days when everyone worked.
