Civil war veteran, who passed away
at his home on North Illinois street
yesterday, was held from the family
home this afternoon at one o'clock
conducted by Rev. Jacob M. Fross.
Interment was made in the Hughes
cemetery. Mr. Hinshaw was eighty
years of age and has been ill for the
past two months. He was a member
of Company "G" 46th Indiana Regi-
ment and served, throughout the
war. Besides the widow, Mrs. Me-
lissa Hinshaw. he is survived by
three sons. John W., Charies and
Richard Hinshaw and one daughter,
Mrs. Louisa Ginger.
