He married Pansy Clifton on Feb 9, 1902 in her hometown of Lyons, Georgia. He spent part of his life as a photographer and then took up farming after he moved to New Mexico.

William Edmond Charlton Jr (1906-1996)
Harry James Charlton (1910-1982)
