EDNA MAE LIMING GROVER

Our beloved Edna Mae Liming Grover, 72, of Alexandria, Virginia went to be with the Lord on July 13, 2010 of complications from Lung Cancer. She retired from the United States Postal Service after more than 30 years of federal service. She was born in Joplin/Dumfries, Virginia on May 25, 1938. She graduated from Garfield High School and was married at an early age to Kenneth R. Peacher Sr. of Manassas, with whom she had two sons. She later married Ronald Grover from the Franconia area of Alexandria and had a daughter. Edna Mae was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton B. Liming and Sadie Watson Liming and her son, Kenneth R. Peacher, Jr. She was second to the youngest of the 13 Liming children. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Grover; her children, Martin K. Peacher, Scarlett S. Grover, and stepdaughter, Amber McDonald. She is also survived by five grandchildren Damien McDonald, Erika Golden, Wyatt Burke, Cameron and Emily Peacher; four great-grandchildren, one brother, Clinton Liming, two sisters, Mildred Gill and Anne Berrios plus numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive visitors at Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Blvd, Dale City VA on July 16, 2010 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Mountcastle Funeral Home on July 17, 2010 at 1 p.m. She will be buried in Dumfries Cemetery.
