The dear sister wsa born and reared in Caldwell parish, and was one of its old settlers, but she has left us and gone to the home of the blessed to live with her blessed Redeemer. She has left a vacant chair in the family, but she will not be forgotten, as she was good to the poor and oppressed. No one was turned away from her door. She was kind to her neighbors, always ready to help in time of need. She will be missed by many whom she has ofter cared for. May the blessings of God ever follow her dear husband and children.
Fond husband, though thy heart is broken and the bitter tears only a token of thy love for her who is gone, all will be healed on that glorious resurrection morn.
She was laid to rest at old Bethel grave yard with funeral services by the writer.
