Sam H. Curry, 72, former resident of Joyce, died July 26 at the home of his sister, Mrs. Lily Crowell in Grayson.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Old Bethel Baptist Church near Clarks with the Rev. Kenneth Wall officiating. Burial was in the Old Bethel Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home, Winnfield.

A native of Caldwell Parish, Mr. Curry resided in Winn Parish for many years and moved to Grayson a short while ago.

He is survived by his sister; three brothers, F. H. Curry and A. E. Curry, both of Monroe; and P. P. Curry of Columbia.
