A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, 10:00 A.M. at St, Bonaventure Catholic Church with Father Mike Keating officiating. Interment will be in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. at the Gass Haney Funeral Home with a Vigil Service at 6:00 P.M. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 9:00 – 9:45 A.M. also at Gass Haney Funeral Home.
Rachael M. Kuta was born July 22, 1921, in Cedar Rapids, Nebraska, to Frank and Louise (Rutten) Zarek. Rachael graduated from Genoa High School in 1939. On August 19, 1942, she married Edward James Kuta in Genoa. After moving to Columbus, Rachael worked as a cook and also for BD for 9 years before spending most of her time babysitting for many children and grandchildren. She was a member of the Eagles, American Legion Auxiliary, and the V.F.W. Auxiliary.
