Pat Abrusley was born July 8, 1928 to C.W. & Ruth Singleton in Morris, Oklahoma. She departed this life Saturday, July 17, 2010 at her Bristow residence at the age of 82 years, and 9 days. Pat graduated from High School in Oklahoma City and attended Nursing school as well as business school. She was a resident of Bristow since 1966. She retired from Kwikset after a number of years of employment. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church and a longtime volunteer of the Bristow Memorial Hospital. Her real passions in life were her church, family, and friends. Her hobbies were reading and plants. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer society and the American Red Cross. She is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Cantrell-Woodcock and one son, Ed Abrusley. Three Grandchildren, Christopher Cantrell, Stephanie Cantrell, & Kyle Abrusley. Four Great Grandchildren, Emily Cantrell, Derrick Longacre, Jonathon "Short Stack"Longacre, & Kay Dee Cantrell. Services are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at the Bristow First Free Will Baptist Church with Reverend Gene Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at the Morris City Cemetery.
