Services for Shirley "Shell" Johnson, 79, of Diboll, were held Wednesday, Nov. 2, 1994, with burial in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.
Mrs. Johnson was born on July 24, 1915 in Pine, La, and she died Monday, Oct. 31, 1994 at her residence.
Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker. She had lived in Diboll since 1939.She was a member and training union teacher at the First Baptist Church of Diboll.
Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Ollie Johnson, and a daughter Bobbye Medina.
Survivors: sons, Von L. Wilson, Jr. of Diboll, and James R. "Babe" Johnson of Houston; son and daughter-in-law, Joseph S. and Ruth Johnson of Lufkin; daughter, Linda Cook of Lovelady; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
