Employed as a welder at the foundry the last 11 years, Mr. Chilcote was a member of the Fort Amanda Lodge No. 706, Free & Accepted Masons, the International Union of Operating Engineers, and the United Auto Workers, CIO. He was born May 23, 1891, in Glenmore.
Surviving are the widow, Edith; four daughters, Mrs. Maxine Loomis, Gary, Ind.; Mrs. Eleanor Goslick, Highland Park, Mich.; Mrs. Laura Mae Hunt, Waco, Tex.; and Mrs. Edith Ann Miller, Beaverdam; a sister, Mrs. Grace I. Smith, Lamont, Iowa, and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the Lewis Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Willard Thomas, Harrod, will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
