"L.A. Beckstead Rites Held Thursday At Auburn
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at Auburn, with interment at Kelsey, for Lewis A. Beckstead, 73, former Placerville business Man.
Mr. Beckstead passed away early this week at Phoenix, Arizona.
Widely known in El Dorado County and at Fallon, Nevada, where he had made his home in recent years, Mr. Beckstead is survived by his wife, Mrs. Carrie Beckstead, and by one sister, Mrs. Preston Smith, of Auburn."
