On 04 April 1861 he married, Sarah Catherine Lynch, in Clinton County Indiana. Sarah was born in Clinton County, Indiana, on 08 July 1841. Together this couple would share six known children. Jesse moved to Humboldt, Richardson, NE with his wife around 1870. There she died in 1871 and he continued west to Colorado. He died in Stoneham, Weld, CO, on 12 Apr 1917.
