Thomas McClellen Allen was the third child of six, and the eldest son, born to, Jesse Bennett Allen, and his wife, Sarah Catherine LYNCH Allen. He was born in Clinton County, Indiana on, 24 December 1864. In Falls City, Richardson County, Nebraska, on, 25 October 1888, he married, Angelina 'Lina' Cora Grinstead. She was the third child of six and the second daughter born to, John Philip Grinstead, and his wife, Zerelda Tunstall SHIRLEY Grinstead. Together, Thomas and his wife, Cora GRINSTEAD Allen, would share three children. Cora died early on from, 'consumption', or, tuberculosis, and Thomas continued west into Colorado. He died in Colorado Springs, El Paso County, Colorado, on 15 October 1934. He was buried in an unmarked grave, in Evergreen Cemetery on 18 October 1934. He is buried, in plot: Block 00016 000043 - 0000NW.
