"John Gable, sixty-two, a Spanish American War veteran, died Monday afternoon at his home, 337.5 North Queen street, of a complication of diseases. He was the son of the late Thomas and Hannah Gable and was a member of Faith Reformed Church. A brother, Frank of this city, and a sister, Mrs. Charles Harris (sic Harnish) of this city survive.
Services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the H. C. Rote Funeral Parlors, 155 South Queen street, with interment in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call at Rote's Wednesday (this) evening between 7 and 9 o'clock."
